Tires MICHELIN or Kleber

MICHELIN Tires

Our AS3 and my Continentals have historically worn smoothly, although the Michelin wear much better. Without really thinking about it I'm not sure how many miles we have on our AS3 but they are a lot of miles and even on the all-wheel drive car they have worn completely smoothly and evenly without a single hitch. Rotations with oil changes is all they get.

Pros: smooth wear, even wear, long lasting

I'm personally impressed with cross climate 1 and 2 versions, used them for years managed to get up snowy hills proper awd's with less capable tyres couldn't get up.

Noticed no noise increase in the tesla, grip is still amazing and unlike some brands they grip well even down to the wear markers

Pros: amazing grip, no noise increase

I have the Cross Climate 2’s. No regrets.

Not any noisier that I’ve noticed from the OEM Michelins. About 5% efficiency hit for me.

Pros: excellent rain and snow performance
Cons: 5% efficiency hit

I still say switching to Michelin Pilot Sport 3 All seasons was the best choice I made; a bit lower efficiency but they are actually a decent width so you have some protection from curb rash. They also have significantly better rating on all performance metrics and are cheaper then the Primacy.

Pros: better rating, cheaper
Cons: lower efficiency

The Michelin PS4 DT1 tires are very good for road-use, plenty of grip, handle wet roads without any fuss, and I think they'll last me 20.000km or so, even with some light trackday use.

Pros: plenty of grip, handle wet roads, good longevity
Mileage: 9500 km

We got a set of these on our Accord as winter tires this past fall. They worked great in any and all weather that we ran into. I generally dislike directonal tires but we got in a bind and these had the correct fitment for our car. They have some noise and a bit of squirm but honestly, you really have to look for it. They do like to collect stones though.

Pros: worked great in weather
Cons: some noise, bit of squirm

I'm on my third set of Michelins on my current Camry and with the most recent set I upgraded to the Defenders from the stock Energy Savers. They've been great so far. The Defenders have handled heavy rain super well for me, and were decent in whatever snow we got in the past year.

Pros: handled heavy rain well
Mileage: 65000 km

Personally, I would not get the CrossClimates if you are in Florida. They are like a hybrid winter tire with the snowflake and would probably be great in the rain but might wear quickly down there. I put a set (the car version) on our Corolla before we sent it to our kid up north and they were okay but felt a little "clompy" and loud over bumps.

Pros: great in the rain
Cons: clompy and loud
