I ran the Michelin Defender LTX on our 2017 Explorer and they were great, long wearing, good in the rain and quiet. Not a sporty tire at all though.

Pros: long wearing, good in rain
Cons: not a sporty tire

Run any tires that aren't the ones that came on the car. The OEM Dunlops that came on the 2016 GT were terrible. I thought that when I'd change to the Michelin PS3 As, I might notice a bit of a change, but they completely changed how the car drove in every situation. I immediately noticed how nimble, yet planted the car felt after the change.

Pros: nimble, yet planted
Cons: OEM Dunlops were terrible

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus tires and found them to be far better than the tires that came from the factory.

Pros: far better than factory

I’ve got a 2013 Ford Taurus limited, and I’ve got the crossclimate 2’s on her. Beat tires I’ve ever had. They’re a little expensive, but they’re well worth it. They’re designed to push snow and rain away from your vehicle. Stoping power even in the snow is great.

Pros: stopping power is great
Cons: a little expensive
Vehicle: Ford Taurus

The Michelin sidewalls had all the support in the world, to the point of feeling harsh. Awesome in the corners though but the car definitely thudded over expansion joints and bumps.

Pros: awesome in corners, good support
Cons: harsh ride, thudded over bumps

Dude. Ran the michellins, ran the Kumhos and twice have run Dunlop SP5000s .. run the dunlops. They're sub $100/tire, grip much better than the kumhos both wet and dry, take longer to wear and are just all around a better tire. Far better than the michellins, for a fraction of the price.

Pros: better grip, longer wear
Cons: worse than Dunlops
