Tires MICHELIN or Hankook

MICHELIN Tires

Subaru. I have difficulty breaking traction in a crosstrek sport (2.5l) with Michelin CC2 tires in light snow. I can’t see how anything could be better.

Pros: difficulty breaking traction
Vehicle: Subaru

Got some Hankook ion Evo tires for my Model Y. Had the Asymmetric 5’s and they lasted 50k so I’m hoping these last a long time too. Right off the bat they are softer than my old ones but not as sporty. Still a very good tire and can pick up the pace.

Pros: softer than old ones, good tire
Cons: not as sporty
Mileage: 50000 km

Running Michelin X-Ice Snow now. Also good and well respected. Wearing a bit better. They handle better than the Blizzaks as well. Can recommend.

Pros: good, well respected
Cons: wear a bit quickly

That's not bad. Quad with 21's here and I was only able to get 18k out of them. Switched to the Michelin's, so let's see how far those go.

i had Continental DWS06 on my 2020 WRX, just switched to pilot sport A/S 3 this year. the pilots SUCKKKKK in the snow, glad i'm not the only one who's noticed. Definitely going back to my DWS06 after these pilots are done.

Cons: SUCKKKK in the snow
