Tires MICHELIN or Hankook

I have Michelin Ice-Xes on my GTI and they do a great job.

Hankook Ice Pike's are the best all around snow tire that have used. Wear, road noise and dry handling were much better than Bridgestone's, and any of the others that I have tried over the years. No perceivable loss in snow traction on a TSX wagon under normal snow conditions.

Just got Cross Climate 2’s from Costco yesterday. I put about 60 miles on today and I love them! Great smooth ride and I feel like they really grip the road.

Never cheap out on tires. I just ordered Pilot Aplin Pa4's on the stock size for my turbo they were $266 i believe on PMCtire.com (which I find to be the best online tire shop here in Canada. Free shipping!). You get what you pay for generally for tires.

Wears like iron, just like the R-S3, but doesn't need as much heat to work. I can leave the sprayer at home and just ignore them.

I did the same thing with mine about 1.5 years ago. I went to America’s Tire and they called Michelin and did the discount. Went with Michelin Crossclimates on mine. Solid tires!

The CrossClimate2 is nice for snow, but they come with a bit more noise than their all weather tires. I use them as winter only tires.

The Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s are the best all season tires they have right now. Great in summer and snow but pricey.

Now have a 2014 mustang gt with michelin as3+ and they were decent ..even though they were worn down ..got as4 when they came out around I think June 2020? Felt good on the rears . But I guess like all tires take a bit warming up when cold . Felt some slipping only 4k miles in...but I am a lead foot ..understatement as well.

I personally don't like Michelin tires. The rubber just feels cheap.
