I just put the CC2’s on my 18 GSW 4motion. I couldn’t be more pleased! Performance on wet road- exceptional. Snow- not quite as good as a dedicated snow tire, but damn close. I’ve rallied up the canyon to Alta on snow packed days, not once did they get squirrelly.
We have Goodyear WeatherReady Assurance tires on our Acura MDX and they are far and away the best all-season tires I've ever had. They go nearly toe-to-toe with summer tires and also perform exceptionally in the wet, on ice, and with snow.
I've had experience with both and while both are absolutely fantastic the Michelin tires felt like they warmed up a few minutes faster and handled the rain a bit better.
I put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's on my '18 S4, and they were decent at everything and snow tested as competent, for a high performance a/s tire - but very expensive, and overkill for stock Passat, IMHO.
I've been a big fan of my Michelin Premier All Seasons
I got 4 new Goodyear assurance on my civic for about 450 on some sale, through goodyear's website. The techs fucked up my tpms, but the tires are noticeably better than the old ones.
Most consistent tire when it comes to not being out of round and balancing with the least amount of weight - Michelin. Thus they always ride excellent right out of the box and all the way until they are wore out.
Michelin premieres perform great in the snow, about as good as winter tires (reviews on tirerack) Turned my prius into a beast in the snow (for a prius).
Our old Yaris came with Bridgestone RE92s which were TERRIBLE. After putting Michelin Defenders on it, it was at least moderately tolerable at speed.
Mine only made it about 20k. They aren't very good off-road tires either.
