Tires MICHELIN or GENERAL TIRE

MICHELIN Tires

CC2 is an amazing tire. Snow fall from a single storm can be measured in several inches to a couple of feet. My wife’s Cayenne is an absolute monster in these conditions with the Michelins. She runs them all year and this will be the 3rd winter on the same set, with amazing wear.

Pros: amazing tire, excellent in snow, amazing wear

I absolutely love the Cross Climates. Their handling in rain and snow is very good, and they just seem to ride more comfortably than the Defenders ever did. They are also more quiet. FWIW I’ve only had my Cross Climates for one winter here in MD.

Pros: excellent handling, comfortable ride, quiet

Cross climate 2s are amazing. Won’t buy anything else after owning them tbh for year round use.

MICHELIN Tires

CC2’s carried me through last winter. Snow, icy roads no problems. I was able to rescue my son in a snowstorm when he slid off the road. 4-6” of unplowed snow and my CR-V handled it like a champ.

Pros: excellent in snow, no problems
Vehicle: Honda

MICHELIN Tires

I ran them for a decade on my old M135i. They’re great tyres, if a little compromised compared to the newer generation. They’re not great in the wet or cold, and the performance does start to drop off before you get to the legal tread depth minimum.

Pros: great tyres
Cons: compromised, not great in wet/cold, performance drops off
Vehicle: BMW

GENERAL TIRE Tires

i know general makes the altimax rt45 in that size, at least we get that in the states. im not a fan of uniroyals at all, the generals are a better tire across the board

Pros: generals are better
Cons: not a fan
