Just put Defender 2’s on my 18’ Highlander. Bought it with coopers on it. Couldn’t believe how much better the ride is and how much quieter it is.

Pros: better ride, much quieter

Also live in Minnesota. I got the cross climates. Don\u2019t have to change them out, they perform great in winter. Have had them on for 60k miles or so, mostly highway, and they still got a lot of life left.

Pros: perform great in winter, long life
Mileage: 96560 km

I went from Toyo Celsius to CC2’s on my 2014 RAV4 Limited, I love them and have had no issues in over a year and 20,000 km of use. I rotate front to rear every 8,000 km during my oil change so they are wearing evenly. I haven’t noticed a big difference in gas mileage or noise.

Pros: no issues, wearing evenly
Cons: no big difference
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 20000 km

We do have CC2's on one of our cars. My personal answer is, no tire is great at everything. CC2's are as good as advertised in snow and rain traction, which is a very valuable trait.

Pros: good snow, rain traction
Cons: not especially quiet

I live in the sf bay area and have cross climate 2s on a camry. They are great for foggy and rainy weather. Also have used them in Tahoe and Donner, california. I like them quite a bit. Great traction for my usage.

Pros: great for foggy, rainy
Cons: they are loud

I love my cross climates and will only ever drive them. I also have a fear of driving in rain so rain performance is a must for me. I literally couldn’t hydroplane if I tried. They are quiet too. I will never own anything else got 65k out of my first set

Pros: rain performance a must
Cons: quiet
Mileage: 65000 km

My $1200 Michelin ice-x tires wore out faster than my inexpensive $600 Toyo tires and the travel experience is EXACTLY the same.

Pros: travel experience is same
Cons: wore out faster
