Tires MICHELIN or Cooper

MICHELIN Tires

I swapped my G80 from PS4S to PS4AS in early October, which lets me send it on the \\~75% of winter days that are dry and cold, but no snow or ice.

Pros: good for dry, cold days
Vehicle: BMW

MICHELIN Tires

Run flats suck if you care about performance but if you absolutely have to have them and want an all season tire the Michelin pilot 4 all seasons are decent.

Pros: decent all season tire
Cons: suck if care performance

MICHELIN Tires

Lately I really like the Michelin XIce series. I'm on my third set of these between me and my wife, and they're great for our typical winters. Awesome on ice, really good on wet roads, great handling and mileage on dry roads, and still better in deep snow than any all-season.

Pros: awesome on ice, great handling
Cons: not great on dry/wet roads

MICHELIN Tires

I got the defenders for the 21" wheels 4k miles ago. I am currently at 2.31 mi/kWh and climbing. Pretty similar to the original Pirelli tires.

Pros: efficiency climbing
Cons: similar to original tires
Mileage: 6437 km

Be careful with Coopers. Their QC is abysmal. I just took off a brand new set of Road & Trails, about 600 miles on them. Wouldn’t balance and the thread was coming through the sidewall on one of them.

Cons: abysmal QC, wouldn't balance, thread coming through sidewall
Mileage: 600 km
