I have blizzaks 225/60R18 on aftermarket rims. Have been very happy with them in the past. We get lots of snow and live on a farm. Have gone through 2 winters.
At the time we replaced ours, the major need was traction in wet and snowy weather as the base tires just sucked in the slightest amount of weather. So we got MICHELIN CrossClimate2 tires and they’ve been great for corners, rain, snow and basically everything the low rolling resistance ev tires sucked at.
I've rode Michelin commander III's for years. I've consistently got around 12-15k out of a set of tires and been a daily rider for years.
Michelin Commander 2. I just replaced on an Ultra Limited after 24,000 miles. Went with Commander 3 this time: only 3,000 on the 3's so nothing to report yet.
I fucking hate Michelin except for the Cross Climate 2, that shit is great.
Have Crosslimate 2 on my wifes CX5 (and her dad has 2-3 sets on his vehicles) and I have Defender LTX MS2 on my Rivian and im a big fan.
Everyone says they're mid but I've yet to lose any sort of traction wet or dry. And I've tried.
have previously tried pilot support 4 but they didn't quite work as well on my car on initial turn in and wore a bit faster but both tyres are amazing in all conditions.
I had the AS3 on my old Accord Sport. Outside of grip, I didn't really care for them (loud, rough, but it was on an already sort of loud Honda), and the OG DWS on my old Si. Those were OK.
Mine have 28k on them and they are looking rough very disappointed will avoid Bridgestone forever now lol
