Tires Laufenn or FULDA

Laufenn is budget brand of Hankook and get decent reviews.

Laufenn is hankook’s budget brand. The hankook 4s2 are a very similar tire and perform favorably vs the Michelin crossclimate, Bridgestone weatherpeak, and others. I would expect these to be similar.

I recently upgraded my pickup's tires to Laufenn tires and wanted to share my experience with the community. After extensive research and comparison shopping, I opted for Laufenn tires due to their affordable price point and promising reviews. Here's my take on these budget-friendly tires:

One of the standout features of Laufenn tires is their impressive performance on the road. Whether navigating through city streets or cruising on the highway, these tires offer a smooth and stable ride.

The traction on both wet and dry surfaces is commendable, providing a sense of security even during sudden maneuvers. I've noticed a significant improvement in cornering stability and braking distance compared to my old tires, which is crucial for safe driving.

Durability is another area where Laufenn tires excel. Despite their lower price tag, these tires are built to last. I've been using them for several months now, and they still look and perform like new.

The tread wear is minimal, which is a testament to their quality construction. This durability translates to excellent value for money, as I anticipate these tires will serve me well for many miles to come.

One pleasant surprise with Laufenn tires is their comfort level. Road noise is significantly reduced compared to my previous tires, making for a quieter and more enjoyable ride, especially on long journeys.

Perhaps the most appealing aspect of Laufenn tires is their affordability without compromising on quality. As someone who values both performance and cost-effectiveness, these tires offer a perfect balance.

They provide all the essential features you'd expect from premium tires at a fraction of the price, making them a smart choice for budget-conscious consumers.

I did actually end up getting these tires and after a little more than a year I can say that they have performed extremely well, I’ve tested them in every weather condition except snow and have never had any issues, except that they can be loud at highway speeds.

I have had Lauffen summer tires for a year. I had no problems with these tires.

I have some Laufenn G fit. They work great for my application(sedan) in 3 seasons. Fairly priced and good mileage warranty (60,000 miles) they’re going on their second year and honestly still feel/ride like day 1.

For Winters the Fulda Kristall Montero 3

This does happen with the Fulda Kristall Montero 3. This tire has been around quite a while so this is likely happening because of age. It doesn't seem to have very much dry rot so they'll probably make it till the winter!

My 22 Turbo came with Laufenn tires. I never heard of them, it’s a Hankook brand.

Super late here but I have these on my Acura and they’re abysmal in wet and snow. Very, very little traction in even the lightest dusting of snow. They break free when going around corners dry and when it’s wet out they really go all over the place.
