Tires LASSA or Giti

I am currently running a set of Giti Dexteros on a 1997 Olds Regency. I have about 15000 miles on them and rotate every 5k. They ride great and tire wear is normal at this point. I would recommend them!

Swapped out thr tires recently to 205/55/16 from thr standard ling longs to lassa revola tires.

If you’re looking for something on the cheaper side, Lassa Revola is not bad, the problem is - they are a bit loud (71db), but if that doesn’t bother you - good option for its money

Imam zimske Lasse, odlične su. Nisu previše bučne, trakcija sasvim korektna po snegu.

Mie mașina de noua a venit cu cauciucuri Giti, nu am auzit de ei, mașină de aproape 40k. Ce sa fac, sa le arunc și să dau 1500€ pe Continental? Merg cu alea până le suna ceasul, apoi iau ceva mai bun.

Whatever you do, don’t get the Giti comfort tires that came on the Passat. They’re dog water at everything, treadwear, wet or try traction, road noise.

Giti tires, at least here in the US, I thought we’re a VW OE thing. Not a very good tire when new, definitely hasn’t gotten better with age.

Back in Dec 2022 I bought a new set of Giti E1 tires from a reseller and got them installed with alignment. The tires felt slippery in the wet even after 3 months of usage. I could feel the rear of the car sliding out even when doing 30-40km/h on a wet right bend.
