Tires Kumho or Goodyear

Goodyear Tires

Even if there's only an inch or two of snow (or more likely icy slush) down on the pavement, you'll notice a difference in traction between all season and proper winter tires.

Pros: better traction in snow

Goodyear Tires

The only *truly* green tire I know of is the Goodyear Electric Drive 2, which is built to complement electric cars and is made of renewable organic materials -- yet has excellent handling, noise, rolling resistance, tread life etc. characteristics.

Pros: excellent handling, low noise
Cons: expensive

Kumho Tires

Been really happy with the Kumho Ecsta PA51, as they are a bit more frisky than my previous set of tires which were Conti DWS 06+… although I generally find all seasons to be disappointing.

Pros: really happy, more frisky
Cons: all seasons disappointing

Goodyear Tires

Cons: einmal Problem in Schneewehe

Mine was the same way with those tires. I have the Goodyear ElectricDrive 2’s now and it helped a bunch. Quieter, smoother ride, grippier, slippage off the line is no longer an issue, and any loss of efficiency is negligible.

Pros: quieter, smoother ride, grippier, no slippage, negligible efficiency loss

Goodyear Tires

Our 2021 Hyundai Kona Limited AWD came from the factory with Goodyear Eagle Touring 235/45R18s. At 28,783 miles we only have 3/32nds of tred left and will be getting new tires very soon - they won't be Goodyear!

Cons: wears out quickly
Vehicle: Hyundai
Mileage: 46321 km

Kumho Tires

Got a new set of Kumho TA51a tires 6 months ago, 3K miles in, the tread depth was already down to about half, to 6/32 ", Wth with this tread wear?

I just do normal city driving, nothing crazy, and all 4 wheels are perfectly aligned.

Cons: rapid tread wear
Mileage: 4828 km
