For a good balance of LONG wear and good grip I've been getting Gislaved NordFrosts. Those things seriously take four winters of high mileage, mostly bare pavement commuting to wear out.

Pros: long wear, good grip, durable

Kommorons UHP. I had them on my C63, and they weren't bad as a summer tyre. 90% as good as PS4s, for 50% of the price.

Pros: good summer tyre
Cons: not sure how hold

By the results of their other tires, they seem pretty bad from my experience they are a tier above bottom of the barrel chinese tires
