Tires Kleber or Shinko

I avoided the 805 big blocks because of typically rough and noisy street use. Figured they’d be great offroad. Tried some 705s and they were great street tires but really loose and washy offroad. I’m on the 700s now and I’m really liking them. Closest thing to a 50/50 tire I’ve ever had.

I tried Kleber Quadraxer 3rd gen for 2 years. The tires were perfect on hot road in Toscana in july and on ice/snow covered road in the slowenien alps in january after 30.000 km. I was fully surprised.

I bought Kleber Dynaxer 5 SUV (225/55R18) based on suggestions here for quiet tire and am very happy with my purchase.

Kleber Quadraxer 3 205/55 R17 is \~€110/piece and will perform excellent on snow.

I have no problem recommending Kleber, especially when it is significantly cheaper in some sizes.

I put on Shinko Ravens and they are more confidence inspiring than the Michelin Pilot 3s I was using.

Those looked better but couldn’t be balanced. I got my money back because they had a defect.
