Tires KENDA or WEST LAKE

WEST LAKE Tires

Westlake makes really cheap tires that are great for burners. They're really hard rubber too so they slip really easily. They're OK to daily but in the wet it's interesting.

Pros: cheap tires, slip easily
Cons: interesting in the wet

I had 35" Kenda MTs on my JK. I got 80,000 miles out of them . The only reason I didn't replace them with Kenda was because there were none available at the time I needed new tires. I never had issues balancing them and I prefer how they performed off road over my current tires. The Kenda's cleaned out better.

Pros: cleaned out better, good mileage
Cons: none available
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 128750 km

After searching online, I found a brand called Kenda Klever. After installing them, I did a review video on the tires and what I thought about them. Overall, they have been a good tire. Alot of comments I have read say they are hard to balance. I have not had any issues with them so far. I plan on doing another 4-6 month update video review on them to see how they are wearing.

Pros: good tire, no issues
Cons: hard to balance
Vehicle: Jeep

WEST LAKE Tires

Any tire sold in the us is safe to put on your car, the west lake rp18 is a knock off of a continental tire, I have heard good things about it in terms of value for money

Pros: value for money

KENDA Tires

In run kenda K35 tires (but not gumwall) and they are ok budget tires. They work well but are not especially light, grippy or puncture-resistant.

Pros: ok budget tires, work well
Cons: not light, not grippy

KENDA Tires

I had those on my 29er too. Yeah they're fast and awesome in perfect conditions.m but they blow at everything else. Hated them during a climb on loose stuff.

Pros: fast in perfect conditions
Cons: blow at everything else

My Scout came from the factory Kenda tires. I am wholly not impressed with them, after 9,000 km they are just starting to scrub in for turning grip. I am also under the understanding that these factory tires are only good for 10,000km, so I will be changing none the less.

The addition of any moisture to the rear wheel, including from dew or fog reduces grip friction into the realm of nonexistence making for a disconcerting riding experience.

Cons: poor grip in moisture
Mileage: 9000 km
