An ultra-high-performance all-season tire, the iMove Gen 3 A/S from Ironman is designed for use on sport and performance-oriented coupes and sedans. Built with large shoulders that improve cornering and handling, the iMove Gen 3 A/S features an all-season rubber compound that allows for solid traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions.
I thought they must be crap but after looking into them, they are very well-reviewed. A traction A temp, UHP (ultra-high performance) rated. I like them. You could pay $400/tire for a premium brand but they won't be 4 times better or last 4 times longer.
I also use MRF tyres and mine are running solid for 4+ years. I had 2-3 pinhole punctures which were all repaired eith that mushroom like thing.
I stretch 225/35/19 Ironman Gen 2s on 9.5 wides, they seem like they have more stretch to give too.
Ironman is a value line. They are not awful, also not outstanding. Wet traction and winter traction are not gonna be their strength.
Money forced my hand a couple summers back and I had to put new front tires on my Grand Marquis at the time. Had to go cheap and bought Ironman iMove all seasons. After a few months the only positives on the ledger were that a) they had tread and b) oddly, they balanced out unbelievably well. 80 MPH on the highway, smooth as glass. Ride and handling quality deteriorated quickly from new and they got loud in a hurry.
I burst my Elevate tyre due to my mistake (side wall damage), only 3k KMs on the odometer. MRF rejected the claim but Honda provided new tyre for free as a part of goodwill warranty.
Same happened with my mrf ecotred just after 15000 km...got no claim... changed all 4 tyres to bridgestone coz safety is primary
My Amaze 2nd gen had same issue , MRF ZVTV was tyre , go to MRF tyres and they will get it changed under warranty
Same issue with my Skoda Rapid. Got it replaced immediately at Ekkatuthangal MRF on a pro rata basis.
