Huge fan of the hankook ION evo, definitely improves cabin sound and drive quality on my Tesla Model 3 performance
I would probably go with the Hankook regarding price/performance
I drive a Golf, I bought Hankook Winter i*cept rs2 5 yrs ago and they were really great.
My 22 WRX was also good in the snow, there was times where people were getting stuck especially on hills and I would just cruise by with no issues. I had pilot sport all season 4 tires which are only meant for light snow and I had no issues.
Years ago I was door dashing, had a really nice set of snow tires on my legacy. That thing is a beast in the snow; one lady came to the door and apologized for not having shoveled. I handed her food over and said "no worries" and brapped my out of her driveway while she watched me essentially plow it with my bumper, easily walked thru 8+ inches of snow without missing a beat.
Bought a set of the new Hankook iON HT tires for my R1T in the 275/65R20 variant. This is replacing the Pirelli Scorpion AT with this All-Season. Will report back and do a video on efficiency and reliability on RivianTrackr.
Did a 229 mi trip and got 2.3 mi/kWh on full highway. I’ll keep reporting back on my thoughts.
I had the ion Evo AS on my M3P and they were a nice tire, quiet, smooth. Put them on to get more life from them than the Pilot Sport 4S I had previously. Ultimately I missed the way the PS4s handled on the car and went back to them. Also note that if you have the 20” uberturbines the ion evos leave a gap around the bead of the rim and rocks do get trapped in that space frequently.
Imao iste cijelogodisnje ko i vi. Pokazale se ok. Al ako se radi ikakva kilometraža 2 godine su im vrh
I have a 2023 and love it, but the hankook dynapro at2 tires are the worst I’ve ever experienced. Laughable traction in wet weather, a slight incline would spin the rears no matter what. Worse, they punctured 4 times just from driving on dirt roads. Gravel was opening these things up like they were ziplock bags.
I’m actually pretty disappointed with me ion evo’s. I got them for my ‘22 LR AWD. At first they were really good - and maybe I got a defective set or something- but at about 18k miles on them I already needed a new set. Even the guys at Discount Tire were pretty surprised they went bad so quickly. I don’t really hot rod the car. For reference my OEM tires were Hankook Kinergy GT and I got about 40k miles out of them. They start out as really good tires so I hope you have better luck than me!
