Second set of Hankook Ventus Evo2 purchased. Good tire for price. Just be sure to rotate em as I didn't (got a nail in one; plugged) and fronts got killed while backs still have plenty of tread (25 k on em).

Pros: good tire for price
Cons: fronts got killed
Mileage: 25000 km

Ran the V12s on my 370z and they were fine, with longer tread life than PSS (on that car anyways). Hankook is a solid brand, and unless you track your car, etc. just save the money for something else.

Pros: longer tread life
Vehicle: Nissan

+1 they look like correct for a Jeep tire vs everything else out there and I'm pretty happy with them over the last 15000 miles or so.

Pros: happy with them

Mileage: 24140 km

Hankook Tires

I recently changed wheels and tires on my jetta and I really enjoy the new look as well as the grip from the new tires. I went with a set of hankook v2 and they feel pretty solid so far.

Pros: good grip, feel solid

The new Hankook V12 Evo2 is supposed to be better in terms of quietness and driveability. That may be a good buy on a budget.

Pros: quietness, driveability
Vehicle: BMW

Maxxis Tires

Maxxis makes pretty durable tires. High roller rolls a little slow but grips well, Ardent rolls pretty fast and offers decent grip.

Pros: durable tires, decent grip
Cons: high roller rolls slow

Maxxis Tires

I am a big fan of the Crossmarks. They are definitely not as grippy as something like the Ardent, but they are very, very fast.

Pros: very fast
Cons: not as grippy

Hankook Tires

I had the V12s on my Subaru - were great until I had to stop in the snow. I have the V12s on my S2000 - tried to move it into the garage last year after it had started to snow and had a very difficult time getting traction.

Pros: were great
Cons: bad in snow
Vehicle: Subaru
Mileage: 20000 km

The biggest tire buying mistake I've made was a set of Hankook V12's(not the newer evo2 version, which should be better). Honestly had them off my car in three weeks, the only good qualities being comfort and noise level. Feedback was awful, overall grip in both dry and wet was just adequate, and the sidewalls seemed non-existent at a variety of pressure settings.

Pros: comfort and noise level
Cons: awful feedback, poor grip
