Tires Hankook or Goodyear

my mum has these Hankooks on her Peugeot 308 and they also seem to be okay for the price ... haven't driven much with it personally in the winter but i didn't hear her complain either

EDIT: I bought Hankook Winter i\*cept RS3s, they are silent comparing to Kinergy Eco 2. I am happy that I did not buy allseason for winter, this year seems to be more almost ice roads then previous years, these feels good even on wet road.

2022 Model S Plaid purchased used and needed new front tires. Picked me up a pair of Hankook Ventus iON A 101Y 265/35/R21. Brand new from eBay purchased pair for under $300 !!!

Hankook Ventus V12 EV02. Hankook's have became my favorite tire in the last few years after doing tires/mechanics for 20 years.

Just ditched the OEM set of Goodyears on our Atlas this weekend for a set of Michelins, do it. Don't let tires hold back enjoyment of a vehicle.

If you have a Walmart, Goodyear Reliant tires. They are Goodyear's Walmart exclusive tire. I have run about 5k on mine and so far, so good. Quiet, good grip, solid warranty. Better than my original tires that csme eith my car new.

In comparing equal sizes, the EVO3 appears to be heavier, have more stabilized treadblocks, and stronger sidewalls/belts, but made with a softer rubber compound. Probably a better tire for track use.

I have since transitioned to a set of Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts (275/60/20) for the past year and a half.

The best I’ve gotten was shy over 19 MPG (19.3-19.5) but average 17-18 MPG highway, same speeds 65-70 MPH.

City is around 14-16 on average.

My first time in the rain was the nail in the coffin it's straight up irresponsible that VW put those things on our cars. It's a shame but mine didn't last 1000mi before I got rid of them and that's only because I waited for a sale.

Only fly in the ointment seems to be the OEM tires, Hankook Kinergy GTs. I've noticed, in the very short time we've had the car, that they are noticeably noisier than the Cooper Endeavors we had on our trade in, and the Michelin Cross Climate 2s we have on our other car.
