Tires Hankook or GENERAL TIRE

GENERAL TIRE Tires

Grabber ATX, hands down. Less expensive than a KO2, but last longer, and are FAR better in snow/ice/wet conditions.

Pros: better in snow/ice/wet
Cons: less expensive than KO2
Vehicle: Ford

I just replaced the factory tires on my MYLR at 36K miles with Hankook ion EV tires. So far I've got about a 1,000 miles on them and they are awesome. They are quieter than the stock Continentals and the ride is a bid smoother.

Pros: quieter, smoother ride
Mileage: 1000 km

Seriously though, I hope an FE team bites the bullet and does a lap or two on modified slick tyres. Those cars are quite fast on that Hankook Tyre, and could be even faster on the slicks.

Pros: cars are quite fast

They were fine for highway. I got a flat in 1 and decided it was time for an upgrade at 22,500. They had plenty of tread left. They just didn't feel like a truck tire to me.

Pros: fine for highway
Cons: flat tire, didn't feel right
Mileage: 36210 km

Hankook makes some of the cheapest crappiest tires. There was an issue with premature wear on the Explorers. Michelin is better but not hugely better. I'd use Continental DWS06 any day of the week.

Cons: cheapest crappiest tires
