I am currently running the Falken Wildpeak AT Trail and it is 100% better in all ways compared to the Continental OE tires.
I LOVED my Falken Wildpeaks. Great performance in the snow, and despite using the truck for almost nothing but highway miles, I put almost 55k on them, and they still looked like they had another 60k life in them.
I tracked my 95 Miata with original, stock, 26yr old suspension with 200tw hankooks and endurance racing pads, roll bar and 6 pt harnesses was all I ran for the longest, and keep up with faster cars in intermediate/ occasionally advanced in my 95hp, 2750lb car
Wild peaks are the shiz! No vibrations beasts on snow, ice, and rain. And drive smooth in the summer months. Overall these have been the best tire for the money.
Wildpeak A/T3w, cost roughly the same as the trails. 3 peak rated. They’re made especially for the 3W’s that they advertise. Wear, Winter and Wet conditions. They still aren’t super aggressive like most AT tires which make them great on road too. I’ve ran them for over a year, they’ve been great to me.
Nobody ever talks about Hankook Dynapro AT2's and I dont know why. I havent really tested mine on tough trails, but they have been great on rutted out fire roads and on city streets. So far so good.
I'm on my fourth set of Falkens, because they work.. They perform great in anything; I live in the Canadian Rockies, and they are one of two all weather tires that qualify as "Snow tires" under both British Columbia and Quebecs mandatory snow tire laws. We've been to the Arctic Ocean twice, and into deep southern Mexico, down the length of Baja, and across the continent with them. We have never been stuck that we couldn't self rescue, and not one blowout in either Arctic trip.
Cazan din 2001, Nexen de vară, Bfgoodrich de iarnă, ambele clasa B la franare pe ud, anul viitor trebuie să-mi iau alt set de vară și îmi face cu ochiul Hankook cu seria Ventus Prime.
i did not understand the difference between load rating when i ran my ko2, had a good side wall tear ko2 in snow was meh but it was nice not to have to put chains on in chain control i now run the wildpeak in 35 and they are chonky. i think they work pretty good on/off road. tho gas mileage sucks now on the bigger tire. neither tire is very loud and I can't hear them inside the gx.
Bridgestone, Michelin or Pirelli. Cooper a decent mid brand. Stay away from Hankook.
