Tires Hankook or Continental

Continental DWS, best tire for the money in my opinion

So far I think the continentals transition response actually matches MINIs personality better, despite it having lower absolutely grip.

I’m rocking Conti PureContact LS’s on my 14 hatchback and they’ve been awesome

Mines a daily driver and I run continentals for snow and heavy rain. The only way your slipping with them is if your trying to.

I love my Sports. This summer will be my second season on my current set. Only have about 11k on them so far.

The Sports are a phenomenal tire though. They handle my IS38 with ease and boy do they feel amazing in the mountains.

I agree, they are a phenomenal tire that is very well rounded.

Oh, and I guess I did have a set of some Continental Wintercontact of some flavor last winter, and they were fine. Nothing really good to say, nothing bad either.

The GTI comes stock with some pretty bad all seasons (225/40R-18 Hankook Ventos S1 Noble 2). That has got to be one of the most mind boggling decisions because if you’re going for a GTI, you’re probably looking for something “sporty” so why have garbage tires as standard?
