Continental VikingContact 7s are my recommendation. I get an average of 4m of snow, where I live, every winter, and these tires have never let me down. And they're incredibly refined at highway speeds.
I run 18” on my ‘24. Pirelli Sottozero 3 on Pretoria wheels. We have Continental VikingContact on our ‘24 Alltrack. Both great set of winter wheels for Canadian winters.
I had 225/40 R18 on mine last Winter and had no issues with it. Tires were Conti's WinterContact TS870. I was very happy with those tires. We got some pretty sewere snow last year and my R pushed through like nothing.
I run 225/40 R18 Continental ContiWinterContact TS 830 P
We got conti vikingcontact 7. They've been fantastic. They were much cheaper than the Michelin's which I hear mixed reviews of.
No change in noise vs stock tires, feel like more lateral grip. We average only 1kwh/100km more on the winters vs all seasons (but it was also much colder when they were on for so I don't think they lost much efficiency).
1600 miles later after a TN road trip and I love these Contis. Quiet, excellent rain performance and good in the curves. We had two emergency stops and these things stuck like glue.
I replaced the run flats with Continental Sure Grip right of the rip. World of difference in ride.
Put 19" Hankook ION EVO AS on my 2024 performance last week, and so far, I'm a fan. Obviously not enough experience with them yet to have much of an opinion, though.
I use Gatorskin clincher on my commuter bike. They are very durable, with little wear marks after 2 years of use. But they aren’t light and fast like GP5000s. If you are a roadie, then I wouldn’t recommend Gatorskins for sport rides.
It's quiet but bouncy.... I have always had Michelin pilot sport AS or 3+ on my other teslas and have always loved them. It's been about 2-3 weeks on these hankoooks, thinking of trying to do a return if possible. I prefer a firmer ride
