I have had 2 pairs of hankooks and multiple others. I think the hankooks are 90% the tire that the hakapelitas are for about half of the price.

Pros: fair price, good performance

I had both the Turanza EL440 and those exact Firehawk tires. The Turanza I had would have lasted maybe 55k or 60k if it wasn't for me getting one damaged from a road hazard.

Pros: long lasting
Mileage: 55000 km

Hankook Tires

I've had the Hankook Ion Evo AS on my SE for the last week. Much quieter than the Ventus S2 that were replaced. Really liking them so far. Same efficiency this week on my normal commute as the Ventus S2 were getting me.

Pros: much quieter, good efficiency

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I've always gone Blizzaks. They have been a phenomenal tire when it comes to driving in blizzard like conditions. Hell I was going 70 during a blizzard on a freeway when I had my cobalt in high school with blizzaks.... probably not the best decision back then, but they got my younger self home at the end of the day while many others were in the ditch.

Pros: phenomenal tire, blizzard conditions
Vehicle: Chevrolet Cobalt

Arivo feels like it would wear out in about a year of good use. My last bridgestone got to around 38k km (5years ++) of use. Im currently using bridgestone ecopia and personally i have no qualms with it

Pros: no qualms with it
Cons: wear out in a year
Mileage: 38000 km

BRIDGESTONE Tires

The problem with LRR tires is they suck at doing the things you need a tire to do, like braking and cornering. I once put a set of Bridgestone Ecopias on a Mazda5... A FWD minivan with 153 Horsepower should not be able to spin the tires all the way through 1st and 2nd gears taking off from a stop sign.

Cons: suck at braking, suck at cornering
Vehicle: Mazda 5

BRIDGESTONE Tires

My 2021 ID.4 first edition came with Alenza tires.

They were bad in the snow (got snow tires) and I went through them in <20k miles. Not impressed at all.

Pros: got snow tires
Cons: bad in the snow
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 20000 km
