Tires Goodyear or Vredestein

last Black Friday, I was able to score Goodyear Reliant tires from Walmart for $85 each for my 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan.

I wish I could buy my Goodyear Wrangler Trailmark AT tires again from Walmart. I bought a set in 2019. I am just about to replace them. Did great all year in snow and rain. Currently, at 70k miles on them.

Put a set of Vredestein Hitracs on my mom's CX5 and she loves them. Quiet and excellent in the rain.

The Vredestein Quatrac Pros on the HRV were the best all around tire I've had and I'm pissed they discontinued them in the size I need. Very quiet, 90% of real snow tire performance.

I chose the Vredestein Quatrac Pro's for my wife's ML350 4Matic. Quiet, handle well (for a beast that heavy) and good in the wet.

I just replaced my original Assurance Weather Ready tires today, for the new version. I got a little over 78k miles on the first set. I think they were the best tires I've ever owned. They did well in Colorado mountain snow, generally inspired confidence and wore like iron.

I also have inductions with the F1s. I had a tire patched at Discount Tire at 4k miles, they measured them at 7/32 and told me I’d need new tires soon. I have the same tires still at 27k and they are at 6/32 left, mostly highway mileage though.

Yeah, unfortunately those stock tires are trash. Especially with the 19” rims, they get used up quickly and you can feel every single rock you drive over with them. I’m not surprised they hadn’t lasted very long.
