Tires Goodyear or PHANTOM

Goodyear Tires

I've been a fan of Goodyear Duratracs on my last 2 trucks (including my current one), specifically LT275/65R20. The aggressive profile looks great, and the 65 profile helps fill in the space in the wheel well without rubbing. The tread is slightly over .5" and I've used them over 65k miles.

Pros: aggressive profile, fills wheel well
Cons: stiffer ride
Mileage: 104607 km

Just swapped in Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT Light truck tires at 275/65/20 on Friday and they are night and day different from the road noise of the Scorpions.

Pros: less road noise

I've been a Goodyear customer for almost 20 years. I've had their Assurance all-season on many cars and suvs. I used to swear by Michelin until I had to buy my own tires. That being said, Michelin at Costco seems ok.

Pros: long-term customer satisfaction, good performance

You really need to get the new Goodyear Electric Drive 2's. They're amazing in wet weather and they're whisper quiet with no noticeable loss in range.

Pros: amazing in wet weather, whisper quiet
Cons: no range loss

The short answer is, No. This sub is an echo chamber. It skews very much to the purist side of racing. Reality - The racing is as good as it has been for a long time. The championship race was very encouraging. NASCAR and Goodyear seem to have found the correct tire combo for Phoenix which should help out Gateway and New Hampshire. That was the best Phoenix race we've had in a very long time from a racing standpoint. The Playoffs aren't as unpopular as this sub makes it out to be. Those who are happy are typically not the ones complaining about things on Twitter/forums/Reddit

Pros: racing is good, championship race encouraging, correct tire combo
Cons: sub is echo chamber, playoffs unpopular on sub

Yeah the territory MT that come stock on cars have notoriously thin sidewalls and are being advertised to do all this extreme off-roading, but the aftermarket spec territory MT is a bit better.

Pros: better aftermarket spec
Cons: thin sidewalls

They gave me a new pilot and I immediately noticed these tires were not as smooth, comfortable or quiet as the CC2s I had been used to so for me I would say yes. These are just poor quality tires.

Cons: not smooth, not comfortable, not quiet, poor quality
Vehicle: Honda Pilot
