Tires Goodyear or GENERAL TIRE

Run Wrangler SR-A on my JK in the summer. Takeoffs from Ram 1500s. Awesome highway tire. Not an offroad tire at all but they survive forest service roads.

Have these on the Tundra. It isn't an off-roader, but am on the 2nd set now. They lasted pretty well and were outstanding on wet roads and good on snow when I lived in the northeast

The rugged-looking alloy wheels of the prototype, shod in General Grabber A/T Sport tires (275/60R18), sound like a fitting choice for the production model.

From my experience, goodyear offers the best rim protection, I got goodyear assymetric 6 225/45 r17, and the rim protection is big and also the sidewalls are stiff.

I have been using this specific tire below for almost 20 years. Had my 2006 for 11 years and now my 2017. They have great wet road handling. Excellent tread wear. I get about 70K miles a set. Not sure what your price range is but don't skimp on tires, especially on a truck. You want that wet road grip.

early I loved the AT2's I had on my F150 they did great in Mud, Snow and Ice.

I've had Goodyear EfficientGrip on my 1.8 Civic for 20k miles and 3 years. There is still about 5mm of tread on them too...

I would take the RT45 over any Goodyear Assurance model, especially the Maxlife one which I hear people say has a LOT of road noise at highway speeds.

I replaced the Michelins on my Lincoln mKX with Goodyear weatheready tires. There is no comparison between the weatherready and the Michelins defender. The weatheready feels like it has a one ply sidewall when compared to the Michelin defender. The old worn out defenders ride better than the new weathereadys, buy the Michelins!

I've been disappointed overall in the tire.
