I know I'll probably get shit for this but, General. I specifically bought the Grabber APT; I've had 0 problems with them, and I would 100% buy them again.

They were the best-quality tire for what I was willing to spend, since I was also going to a new wheel size and needed different wheels.

Pros: best quality tire

I have the Generals on my 2000 Boxster. They are pretty good. I can take a 90° turn off a hiway road onto another hiway at 55mph, 60 mph is the edge of traction for a 320 treadwear tire. Spins out at 65mph.

Being picky I wish the sidewalls were a little stiffer. The ride is plusher than the Sumitomo HTR(another not bank breaking option) in my opinion.

Pros: pretty good, plusher ride
Cons: sidewalls little stiffer
Vehicle: Porsche

By comparison to the Continental Pure Contacts, the General RT45s:

✅ Cornering feels tighter and faster

✅ Traction seems about equal

❌ Do not feel as "supple". Slightly harsher when going over rough pavement

❌ Do not seem to coast as long

❌ Slightly noisier

Pros: Cornering feels tighter, faster
Cons: Slightly harsher, slightly noisier

Changed to them a few months ago, the wear and tear of these tyres are poorer than the common brands such as Bridgestones, foresee it lasting about 1 year compared to 2-3 years with common brands tyres. My road usage is around 12000-13000 km per year.

Cons: poor wear and tear, short lifespan
Mileage: 12000 km
