Tires FULDA or Shinko

Shinko Tires

- Have been running Shinko 777 tires on my FLHRSI which I'm very happy with, but am going with the longer lasting Shinko 999 tires next.

Pros: very happy with
Cons: going with longer lasting

Shinko Tires

Shinko SR777 HD (reinforced) tires on my '04 FLHRSI as best bang for the buck given how ex$pen$ive the premium tires are these days. It helps to check the psi more often for longevity though.

Pros: best bang for buck
Cons: check psi more often

Shinko Tires

I run shinko 777 in the rear. It's cheap and I like them. The compound is a bit hard so you'll lose cold weather performance. But I ride in 45 degrees and above and haven't had issues with them.

Pros: cheap, user likes them
Cons: lose cold performance

I have shinko 805/804s, they are pretty identical to the 606s, and I absolutely love them. If you balance them well they ride good at 75mph, and handle dirt fantastic.

Pros: handle dirt fantastic

Shinko Tires

I switched to the shinko 244 front and have loved the d606 rear combo. It dives into the corners on the road and will give you about 80% confidence on the dirt.

Pros: dives into the corners

FULDA Tires

I imported my e36 from Germany and it had this max 190KM/h sticker from Fulda tires. I thought that was odd but appearantly it's a thing.

FULDA Tires

This does happen with the Fulda Kristall Montero 3. This tire has been around quite a while so this is likely happening because of age. It doesn't seem to have very much dry rot so they'll probably make it till the winter!

Pros: probably make it
Cons: happening because of age

FULDA Tires

this winter my Fulda winter tires drove me nuts when they developed some stupid humming noise. Not to mention a friend of a friend had the same Fuldas and chunks of the tread just blew apart.

Pros: null
Cons: humming noise, tread blew
