Firestone Winterforce snow tires with studs! Now I have that satisfying clicky clicky back. And the ability to drive through all the snow and ice EVER. Sure, the handling on dry roads is absolutely garbage now, but it's more fun in other ways!

Pros: drive through snow and ice
Cons: garbage handling on dry roads

here in MN were we rally-x in fields, clay, and grass....I use 185/60/14 winterforces....I run intertubes in the fronts to avoid debeading.

Pros: good for rallycross
Cons: prone to debeading

OEM Toyota Tires

We've just been through the worst winter in many years and our matrix has done very well with the factory tires. If you're not going off road fwd is fine. The deepest unplowed snow I drove through was about 8 inches and I felt like that was pushing it.

Pros: done very well
Cons: pushing it at 8 inches
