I run them on the street in the summer on my 135. Cheap as chips, and they handle pretty well. Want a cheap summer tire that's fairly comfortable and handles well? This is your frickin' huckleberry.

Pros: cheap, handles well

After my stock rubber wore down I decided to look into other (cheaper) options for this summer. I landed on getting a set of Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 205/40/17 tires and have been on them for about a week now in both rain and dry. The TLDR of this would be buy these tires!

The longer version of it is that these tires to me at least feel much more comfortable than the stock tires both in terms of ride comfort and road noise. On top of that the grip in the wet is impressive to say the least! I got a lot of rain here in Oregon so wet performance was really important to me. On the stock tires I always left my TC on and was careful going around turns especially as the tires wore down further and further. These Indy 500 just keep on gripping in the wet and I haven't had any problems at all. The first day I had them out in the dry I would have sworn my car was actually faster accelerating! Probably because there was less wheel hopping or it simply just grabbed the road better. I haven't tried a launch on them yet but hope to do some auto-crossing and such in the Spring.

Pros: comfortable, impressive wet grip

I had GY Duratracs on my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee. For the most part I really liked them. Not sure I would say that if they didn't see some offroad though because they were pretty noisy at highway speeds. In the snow and ice, they were amazing. Best tires I've ever had in that type of weather. Also did quite well in mud. The sidewalls were too soft for me to feel comfortable in the rocks though.

Pros: amazing in snow and ice
Cons: noisy at highway speeds

We have Duratracs on our LR3 and they have performed very well for us. They are just now getting noisier but have a lot of miles on them. Snow traction is really good, we've gone up hilly unplowed driveways with them and they went through it with no problem.

Pros: snow traction is good
Cons: getting noisier

I have some Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor tires and they have been fantastic on my Xterra. I have about 50K miles on them and they still have some tread life left. Work really well in the snow and have been great when we get downpours.

Pros: work well in snow
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 50000 km

Great tires, I have them on my GTI. But, unless you have a death wish, don't even think about using them in snow.

Pros: great tires
Cons: not for snow

Pros: great tire, wearing well

I purchased a pair to throw on the rear of my BMW after roasting a set of Pilot Super Sports on the track. For street driving they are 99% of a PSS at 50% of the price. Highly recommended.

Pros: highly recommended, good for street

Goodyear Tires

They were pretty good but after I replaced them with the Falken wildpeak AT3/W and those were better performing and a far better bang for the buck.

Pros: pretty good
Cons: Falken performed better

Asymmetric 2's, not the A/S version. I've driven the A/S version in rain and was underwhelmed with those too. At least in heavy rain, I wouldn't want them--that's based on only one experience, but they were at least 8/32's and were not impressive.

Cons: not impressive in rain
