Tires FEDERAL or OEM Honda

OEM Honda Tires

my biggest complaint, and probably my only real one, is the road noise. The interior can be pretty loud, especially on the freeway. I’m fairly confident that most of this comes down to the stock tires, because otherwise the car feels tight and well put together.

Pros: car feels tight
Cons: interior pretty loud
Vehicle: Honda Civic
Mileage: 30000 km

Usually it is recommended to replace the tyre for puncture on the shoulder or the sidewall but it is a very small nail. Personally I would get it repaired and move it to the rear.

Pros: small nail, get it repaired
Vehicle: Honda City

Throw some studded tires on and you’ll be fine. I made it back to Saskatchewan after a blizzard in Banff Alberta where it snowed 10” of slush. It was a slow drive dragging through the snow.

Pros: studded tires, keeps going
Cons: slow drive, dragging through snow
Vehicle: Honda

All that carbon fiber to make it light and easy to flick into corners - yet bro's never been past 15° lean. Waste of good rubber.

Pros: light and easy to flick
Cons: waste of good rubber
Vehicle: Honda

FEDERAL Tires

In size 225/40 (r18), their thread width is comparable to other makers ~205. Well, does it matter? Yes, in the sense that when you install them onto an 8.5 wide rim, you'll notice that you're stretching the fit, and the sweating starts. Installing a tire alone with a basic tire machine is no longer possible.

Cons: stretching the fit
