I have a 2021 PP1 GT and honestly I just dont know how people crash these things. Granted the PP1 has better tires and better overall suspension setup. When the tires are warmed up this thing hooks up very well and takes curves like on rails.
My 2017 Focus RS with Blizzaks. Nothing I've driven has ever come close.
I'd take the F-150 I already have. It has 3-peak rated tires on it, heated seats, runs on regular, and in the off chance something breaks for some reason, parts are easy to find because they're everywhere. I can confirm it's a beast in the snow even in 2WD because of the tires.
That sucks. It's not the car or rain's fault. These cars are just fine in the rain. You were driving too fast, or following too closely, or have bald tires.
There's some evidence that EVs are harder on tires because they're heavier and accelerate better, but at 10k on my very, very heavy Lightning I'm not seeing that, probably because I drive like a grandma.
Here’s the “bad” stuff that I’ve had on mine:

- LED light on the running board went out. Replaced under warranty
- backup sensor issue: a wire broke (i think) when I did some “spirited” driving on a gravel road. Getting fixed on Monday.
- rear drive unit seal weeped a bit. Getting fixed on Monday.
- stock tires sucked.
They seem to grip decent once warmed up, but they are a bit on the loud side.
Federal tires to add sa mga choices
I got federals once because bills were coming all at once. Worst tires i ever had, so noisy, rough on the road and just didn’t feel great. Snow they were actually great surprisingly.
I can confirm. Do not sign up! I purchased a brand new truck 5 years ago,, the dealer has done all services, brakes, new tires, etc. Everything should have been perfectly maintained. I live in the mountains. I have a 5 mile dirt road to my farm. Ford install one size larger tire than what came originally on the truck. Unfortunately the mountain road can get rough in winter. This I believe caused a bolt to fail on the axle.
