I've got Nankang's and i've had them for two years now (only runnin them in the summer)...They were cheap n i was broke so they were my choice  Haven't had a problem with them yet:thumbup:
i ran 215/35/18's NSII's on an 8.5 last year and they stretched well... drove them all over last season and when i sold them they were at about 70-75% tread life left... they rode good, they were quiet, and good in the rain. for what they are i couldnt complain.
Federal Tire Quality- Just like any tire it truly depends on the model/size. I have had 165/45's and they are junk for daily driving. I am currently rolling on 205/40/16 Federal 595's and I love them.
i havent had an issue with tread life... i mean yea these arent no ****ing pirelli's or falken's. but for the price they've lasted me. and like i said i ONLY buy nankangs.
formoza 165 45's.... i gotz 2 sets. they are great. and fairly cheap.
Im running 195/40/17 on my Corrado. I was never a fan of 17's but absolutely fell in love with these ultra rare BBS's and decided to buy then and put them on anyways. Since I didnt want to rub I bought smaller yet still reasonable tires. They are made by nanking but your brands are limited with oddball sizes.
I got some Federal 215/40/18's from Josh @ Sterling Tire and I think they're great! They stretch well, have a bit of a lip protector and aren't loud. The traction is great, especially in the rain.
Have been riding Nankangs for over 100,000 miles now. No real issues, but as mentioned thread life is not the greatest but it's not horrendous either, I probably got like 20-30,000 miles out of a set. I think they are worth the $, as long as you're not looking for super performance out of them.
yea those nankang's are decent, not great by anymeans...but gets the job done and they do last a while.
Very hard tire, no traction and questionable quality. Lasted about 10K on my son's Jetta w/18's...
