Tires Falken or YOKOHAMA

YOKOHAMA Tires

I have them on my 2015, 16k miles in and no complaints. I had Michelin LTX A/T2s which lasted me nearly 90k miles. I switched to the Yokos because tirerack rated them better than the michelins in every category, and they are 3 peak mountain snowflake rated, while the michelins aren't.

Pros: better than michelins
Cons: no complaints
Mileage: 25750 km

I’m on my third set of 10ply G015. I love them. Good traction in most conditions and great mileage. Keep them rotated to keep them quiet.

Pros: good traction, great mileage
Cons: keep them rotated

I’ve had my AT3’s for about 3 years now. I live in Arizona and drive in the desert a lot and occasionally rainy/snowy slush roads in the winter over never ever had a issue and the noise is minimal to me. Just overall a damn good tire.

Pros: damn good tire, minimal noise

Wildpeaks over all the others. I have hundreds of thousands of miles experience with all three and the Falkens are by far the best in all conditions and remain consistent over the life of tread. The KOs will get louder and offer less traction the more miles you put on them, the Toyos, in my experience don't last that long at all. My WPs have stayed relatively quiet and continued to offer the same traction on/offroad throughout their life, I've also been getting roughly 70-80k miles out of them before even considering replacing them.

The downside to the Falkens is that they're very heavy compared to the others. I noticed a sizeable drop in MPG for sure.

Pros: best in all conditions
Cons: heavy, drop in MPG

Falken Tires

My work truck has been on Falken tires since a few months before I got it 25,000 miles ago. I have never had any issues with stopping distance and the tread is still a 7 on the most worn of the four. I'd say they aren't so bad

Pros: no issues stopping distance
Mileage: 40233 km

I actually owned the 365AW and the Aklimates. The 365’s were very good in the slight amount of snow (Long Island, NY) I drove them in and were all around great. The aklimates I didn’t have a chance to drive in the snow but had a weird hum that I wasn’t fond of.

Cons: weird hum

yes they wear terrible..are noisey and get poor mpg...its a heavy stiff tire.I had them and switched to cross climate 2 year round and they were way better in water/snow and dry..they are quiet and same mpg as oem for me.

Pros: better in water/snow
Cons: wear terrible, are noisey
