Went from:
Nitto Terra Grappler G2s (good)
to Ridge Grapplers (meh)
to Recon Grapplers (amazing). Great ride super quiet still enough knob for the back 40.
These are the roughest riding tire ever. I used to replace with the Michelin M/S2, but nowadays on my last two Rams, I run the Nitto 420V and I like them better in all respects.
I do have a set of Falken Azenis RT615K+ tires on my Cabriolet, and they are nice tires. Sticky enough(200TW), but people are reporting lots of usage before they need replacement(16 people with 15-50K miles on these tires).
We have run Falken Wildpeaks for many years now..we're on our fifth set. They have given us hundreds of thousands of miles on all kinds of roads, and all kinds of weather.
Just curious how people feel about a stock Tiguan with wildpeak A/T. They were definitely worth it, took it to Montana from FL with no noticeable wear on the tread. I live in area prone to flooding and it's all dirt roads so it gets pretty mucky but this thing drives through no problems. Also handles really well in the rain with the wild peaks.
Very good all-around tire. Good in light-med snow, wet grass, dirt, etc. Some noise on the highway, but you'll get that with any AT.
Decided to try out Falken Wildpeaks after the Grabbers, which are also great.
Can second the Falken Wildpeak AT Trails. Replaced Ecopias on 2019 Overland at 21k miles, and Trails were a significant upgrade over the Ecopias.
Nitto Grapplers. Ran them on my ‘14 EcoDiesel. Must have got 50-60k on em
I use them. Good in the rain. But need to get hot on the track for full grip.
Falken Eurowinter tires are crap...
Had a new set on one of my old URS6's...they had about the same traction as a good all season. My half worn Pirelli Sottozero's were superior in every way.
