Those falken stock tires on my Trek got me everywhere so far! Never put air in them once just trekking through everything just all seasons and took the snow like a champ.
Had them on my Cruze they’re a smooth, pretty quite ride and durable.
I own a couple auto/tire shops and we put the Falken Aklimate on my wife's SUV last fall. They have been fantastic so far.
Might I suggest the Falken Aklimates, they are a great all weather tire at an amazing price point. I work at a tire warehouse and I got a tester set and don’t have any issues with the tires themselves.
I’ve been using RT660’s for the past 3 years and they’re fantastic. Though they’re the only summer tires I’ve bought so I don’t have much reference. But they handle great, especially after getting heat into it, and of course it depends on the car but it made a night and day difference in terms of confidence with my car.
I have only had Falken Azeni 660rts, but they've been great. I did a full season of codriving on my 205/50r15s last year and they still have a lot of life in them.
Falken azenis fk 460 all seasons were $200 for a 235/35 19. Awesome tires.
I put Falken RT660s on my STI. The grip level is amazing but a heavy, AWD car can be hard on these tires unless you are set up with the appropriate amount of camber.
i did not understand the difference between load rating when i ran my ko2, had a good side wall tear ko2 in snow was meh but it was nice not to have to put chains on in chain control i now run the wildpeak in 35 and they are chonky. i think they work pretty good on/off road. tho gas mileage sucks now on the bigger tire. neither tire is very loud and I can't hear them inside the gx.
Had a set of Falken AT3W's for a bit and I hated them in snow. Same with the KO2's.
