Just had them installed this weekend at Sam’s club. I have the same impression in terms of noise but they feel like they track pavement grooves more than the OEM so it feels less stable than stock at highway speeds. Overall same efficiency and better grip than the OEMs so I am really happy. Let’s see how they hold up over time!

Pros: better grip than OEMs
Cons: less stable at highway

My early review of the Goodyear ElectricDrive 2 tires just bought for my 23’ Bolt EV LT2 with about 500 miles driven. So far, very happy with the tires. They are definitely very quiet and smooth riding. On asphalt roads I pretty much got to listen hard to hear any noise. On concrete roads there of course is some noise, but not anything that would bother me at all. Takes bumps and rippled roads well. Efficiently wise, seems equivalent to the OEM Michelins. Not as pricey as the OEMs. So if you’re looking for what “ looks like” a good tire for your Bolt or any electric car, these seem to be a wise choice. I will re-review when I get around 2500 miles on them.

Pros: very quiet, smooth riding
Cons: efficiency hard to judge
Mileage: 805 km

I work in a limestone rock quarry and I have Falken Wildpeak AT4 on my truck and they have been excellent. I am about to buy some for my personal 3500 AT4 because the wrangler that are on it are good ties I'm sure, but they give a very stiff ride quality.  If they can stand up to my work environment they will stand up to anything I would need in my personal vehicle.

Pros: excellent, stand up environment
Cons: wrangler stiff ride quality

2 years in with these tires on stock 19’ rims. Live in Chicago. Great in snow / rain. Noticeable tire drone still like them. Sounds like a bad wheel bearing at first.

Pros: great in snow/rain
Cons: noticeable tire drone

Falken Tires

I’ve had the Wildpeaks on my lifted Sienna for 15,000km. They are already down to 6/32 hydroplane in rain and spin out on paved sanded road up to the ski hill.  There wasn’t even any snow on the road and 4 cars behind me passed when I had to stop in the middle of the road because I could not move forward. I’m not impressed.

Pros: look nice
Cons: hydroplane in rain
Mileage: 15000 km

I blew two Goodyear Territory RTs on a trail and wouldn’t recommend them. The stock tires are passenger car rated.

Cons: blew on a trail
Vehicle: Toyota
