I saved 200 dollars going with the Falken’s and haven’t had any complaints. The tires have been wearing much better than the bfg’s too.
switched to Falken, and they've yet to disappoint...first set went on in 2018 and still doing excellent!
I put these on my 2013 AWD, great tires for road and light snow 245/65R-17 FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T TRAIL SL. Can recommend!
My wife has a CX-9 with falken ziex ct50 and she got 60k out of her set.
I just put Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's on my 4Runner last week and I am really surprised as to how quiet they are. I'm not noticing any appreciable noise over the original stock tires (Bridgestone) they replaced.
Wildpeaks have been good to me on the highway
I had dunlop sport Max with SV6 17 inch rims on my 2009 ve international and man they were excellent tyres heaps of grip in the wet and of course in the dry aswell!
Personally, I thought they were ok, during summer they handled great. Never felt uncomfortable in the rain or snow either. But once they finally wore out (and I mean…nothing was left on them), I swapped them for a pair of Nitto Neo Gen, their better and I feel like they grip a ton
Dang, I got the craptastic Dunlops on my '21 R4PSE, but we're only at 21k miles. Sad to see somebody got 45k miles on a set. Dang, I hate to replace them prematurely, so that means I have to endure another 2 years of squeaky skittish tires.
Looking at the Dunlops, they are rated poorly in pretty much every review I saw. They only have a treadwear rating of 360 which is pretty low for an all season crossover tire which explains why they're cooked at 20k miles. Most reviews I see are people complaining about them wearing out at 20-30k miles and being terrible in wet/snow.
