Bought new tires to swap out the Sasquatch stock and went to our local Discount Tire to have them do the swap. Overall, despite a really crappy Discount Tire experience, I'm glad this ended positively with a fantastic experience at 4 Wheel Parts!
Falken makes the wildpeak AT Trail I put on my Cherokee they are good on the road
I run 34 psi on the oem sincerras with the alltrack, no issues, tire wear is normal. At 38 the ride gets too stiff. For city driving it is a good compromise.
Falken wildpeak a/t trail also have the 3 peak mountain snowflake rating. I bought them halfway through the winter season last year and I was so happy with the difference they made in the snow. I drove in all kinds of gnarly conditions and didn't see my traction light come on at all after I put them on.
Dunlop Q5s if you're only doing dry days. Way more grip than the Road 6's.
I live in the snow belt in Canada and made it home during the storm of the decade without issue. They’re not a dedicated snow tire by any means; but I’ve been pleased with their performance overall.
AT’s, and specifically a narrower width (245/70R17) AT3W, has performed very well for me. I have had four sets on two vehicles totaling 260,000 miles and just recently replaced them again on my Tacoma after 60,000 miles.
I have the wildpeaks and they do alright, but have multiple friends that LOVE their Geolandars.
My Wildpeak experience was a horror story! 15 different trips to Discount Tire for balancing/rebalancing & rotations. I would take videos on the exact same stretch of road, at the exact same speed with a view of the steering wheel, speedometer & road to keep consistency.
Purchased wildpeaks for my Tacoma since they seem to be popular. First time I drove with them, right away I noticed how bad the vibration was throughout the whole cab. Went back to discount tire and they rebalanced and road forced. Been there about 5 times now and I am about to give up on them.
