Tires DUNLOP or Sailun

I paid about $65 per tire (225/40/18) + shipping and then had a local tire shop mount them. They have been great in all conditions (N. Carolina) during the 8,000mi they’ve been on.

Not only will Dunlop provide technology to Gran Turismo 7 developer Polyphony Digital, but the game creators will help simulate the future of tyre development for the manufacturer.

I have Sailun SH408 in 14 inch size. I am happy with them.

My 2016 came with Dunlop Sport Maxx RT summer tires, I knew from 8 years with my 2002 WRX that I was immediately going to have to pickup a second set.

Then I got Dunlop summer tires and they are fantastic in the summer.

Miy Sailun (same tires terr as max) lasted about 30, 000. 4/32 was the measurements before disposal.

I had a set of Sailuns on a Ford Explorer. They rode smoothly and quietly but did not last very long, maybe around 35K miles.

To add to other comments, I had a Dunlop catastrophically fail going 90 mph, it was my rear wheel and it was a wild ride for 10 secs, I came out fine but my bike took quite a beating

Another annoyance were the Fast wearing factory Dunlop tires I swapped out at 12k mi on the odo.

I personally experienced a blow out from Dunlop tires in the 90’s. Although they have improved since then i still wouldnt risk it.
