Tires DEXTER or VITOUR

VITOUR Tires

The Vitour P1 is available in your size. Fastest, long lasting tire out right now. Usable in the rain if you diky your car too.

Pros: fastest, long lasting
Cons: usable in rain

VITOUR Tires

Vitour P1 is the hot new tire to run. As fast as the fastest, really stiff sidewall to keep you somewhat taught on a oversized tire, and longer lasting than any other top tier 200tw tires.

Pros: fast, stiff sidewall
Cons: oversized tire

I just finished a coaching session with my friends 992 Carrera S on some new Vitour P1's and was very impressed with how they handled 20+ minute sessions. The heat tolerance is probably the best characteristic, especially compared to the yokes! The P1 just doesn't fall off on grip like that, they are very consistent and don't mind the high heat of the track.

Pros: consistent grip, high heat tolerance
Cons: compared to the yokes
Vehicle: Porsche

VITOUR Tires

If you will daily these AND do some AX, go for the Vitour P1 tires. They are as fast or faster than the RT660 but will last a lot longer. They also won't fall off in the AZ heat - they hold heat a lot better.

Pros: fast or faster, last longer

VITOUR Tires

I came across the Vitour Galaxy R1s — they’re V-rated, which is cool, but I’m not sure if they’re DOT approved. From what I can tell, they’re made by a South African brand (possibly China-owned) and seem to be geared toward drift/race use.

Just wondering if anyone’s actually run these? How’s the grip and overall quality? I’m aiming for a tire that can handle daily driving and still be fun in the corners without dropping $500+ on Avons CR6ZZ

Pros: V-rated tire
Cons: DOT approval uncertain

Ive had a set of 245/65/17's on the rear of my Dakota for about 4 to 5 years now. They are decent for a budget tire but don't expect them to be on par with the likes of Goodyear, BF, etc.. In my experience, there down fall is mileage. Mine have worn even and ride nice, dry traction is very good & wet traction can be questionable.

Pros: dry traction is good
Cons: mileage is a downfall
Mileage: 20000 km

VITOUR Tires

Do not recommend unless you can get a lot of heat into them. even on warm days they would need some time to get grip. If you're in Alaska I could see them not working well for like 8 months out of the year, and they're really expensive too.

Cons: need time to get grip
