Tires Continental or WEST LAKE

I've put DWS06 on my past three vehicles from my daily, to a beater, and now my Z. Best all season performance tire you can get if being able to drive under 40° while having summer performance in the warmer months is what you're looking for. The tread wear is way better than some of the stickier tires out there too and I've found on a stock Z, these tires do hold their own. Can't praise them enough and definitely worth every penny extra.

I have those Continental tires. I like them, but I might not be the best tester. I do spirited drives on the weekends. They're good on turns but I recently started spinning on launches (bought tires summer 2017). Lots of road noise, but doesn't bother me. I bought my car with those tires and bought them again. I have nothing to compare them. That being said... I would give them an 8/10.

They are comparable to the continental road attack 3 , but they are cheaper and last longer , road attack is supposed to be more sticky , but that extra stickyness come in handy only if you have a bike that's significantly stronger than the SV imo.

Continental DWS, best tire for the money in my opinion

So far I think the continentals transition response actually matches MINIs personality better, despite it having lower absolutely grip.

Mines a daily driver and I run continentals for snow and heavy rain. The only way your slipping with them is if your trying to.

On the other hand, I had a set of Westlake tyres on my Grand, cheap and Chinese but they're well know to be tough as nails, lots of the mining companies out in the bush here run them on their work utes etc

Not too sure if the continental are especially weak on the sidewalls, but I blistered 2 tires in a single summer + a leak on a third one. I'm a "careful" driver when it comes to preserving the integrity of my car lol. Montreal, Canada, is known for its ****ty road quality... So yeah, these tires are super easy to damage!

I just replaced the OEM Conti TXs on my 15 Passat. Those tires were good only in dry weather-they lost traction from a start in wet weather and I actually got stuck in about 2\" of snow on a slight rise by my house.
