Continental extremecontact dws06+
I had ExtremeContacts on my golf and loved them except they didn’t last as long as I expected. Then I got Pilot Sport 4s since they were on sale at the same price as the contis. they’re a bit louder but a bit grippier.
I had a friend with Blizzacks on his WRX, and I put the equivalent Continental WinterContacts on my WRX. Mine wore less over time and I commuted more, were slightly cheaper at the time, and felt like they performed a little better.
Big fan of the Continent Winter Contacts for my Passat in 215 width. They were quite a bit less than Michelin's at the time. I'll buy them again.
I recommend Continentals. High quality tires, in general high lifespans and good grip. Good ride quality and low noise.
Ive used trail kings on my old 26 hardtail for many years. I think theyre actually pretty great. The black chili rubber coumpound is good, theyre such a nice blend of grip and rolling speed. They have held up and been pretty durable as well.
I run Continental TrueContact 225/70/16 now. They are stickier than the Michelins, especially in wet conditions, and I regularly get 26+ mpg in my E.
I'm.running Conti DWS06 235/40 on all 4 corners. I looked hard at the Michelin Pilot Sports, watched a few comparison videos. Both are very similar in performance with the Michelins slightly better overall. The Contis have a slight edge in the snow.
Long-time fan of Conti 4000's. Discovered the Conti 5000's were too tight to fit my previous wheelset, Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST.
Currently, pairing Pirelli PZero Velo 4S tubeless with HED Belgium Plus wheels. The Conti 5000's do fit and run well with the HED wheels.
Have the same bubble issue on my 2021 Arteon, 5800 miles, front passenger side.
