i run these tires on my Fusion, they are low profile, have good traction. As they are low profile, performance tires, they transmit road feel more than normal tires.

Pros: good traction, low profile
Cons: transmit road feel
Vehicle: Ford Fusion

For my 2011 Element AWD, switched from the original Goodyears to Continental Control Contact in 235/65/16 (calculated for appropriate aspect ratio). No rubbing in the wheel wells. Better ride and traction.

Pros: better ride, better traction

I have the SL4 with the the 51’s and gp5000 32c”s. I highly recommended, I’m glad i spent the extra for pro’s and I’m also glad I went with the deep rims instead of the 37’s. It’s plenty fast and I’m really pleased with the setup.

Pros: plenty fast, pleased with setup

If you really want a budget tire I’d recommend the Continental extreme contacts... I have them on my R for daily driving and they’ve been great. I’m right around 494 WHP and they have excellent traction in a straight line and turning. It’s actually pretty hard to get them to spin

Pros: excellent traction, great performance
Cons: less treadwear, more expensive
Vehicle: Ford

Pros: great water grip, long lasting, great traction, good road hazard coverage

I have Conti-Extreme Contact DWS06's on her from fall-spring (right now I have summers on.) today the temps were at around 57* and they were most certainly squirrely until they warmed up. They are a good overall tire but they will break loose (both all season and summer) if you have enough HP. they're a good all season tire. but I wouldn't push them to the limits. they are predictable also and I've pushed them in the corners with satisfactory handling.

Pros: satisfactory handling, predictable
Cons: squirrely until warmed up
Vehicle: BMW

I have never been a fan of Conti tires, especially anything with "ContiSport" in its name. They come OE on many German marques, and I can't for the life of me figure out WHY other than some smoking back room deal hammered out over loads of pharmaceuticals in the wee hours of the morning. My MK6 felt like a cement truck with its OE Contis. They would flat spot in what seemed like 120 seconds, noisy as all get out and lasted 1/3 of the claimed milage. Ive permanently deformed Contis on my old 05 E55 by just hitting a small chuck hole or bump. This is anecdotal evidence at best, but my money is on the tires being deformed, belt shift or what ever the excuse of the day is.

Cons: noisy, deformed easily, flat spot
