Tires Continental or OEM Volkswagen

Kupio sam Continental Sport contact 7, pozadi mi idu 275/30/20 a napred 245/35/20, da mi je neko pricao da moze takva razlika da bude u voznji sa gumama ne bih mu verovao u zivotu, auto zalpljen za put, nema buke, po kisi brutalne....

Ja mám rád Continental a zimu. Fungujú celkom fajn. Chvíľu som mal zimné Bridgestone ale ničili sa príliš rychlo

Those Continental's are great tires! I went through 2 sets on my Passat. I always felt secure while driving.

Agree with others who point out that you can run anything but, since you're looking for upgrades, I can attest that the Continental Extremecontact DWS 06+ is an absolutely fantastic UHP all-season if you're not in a climate where you have dedicated summer and winter tires. I went to them straight after Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires and I'm not going back to Michelins.

If you absolutely must use a dual duty then continental ECS02, michelin PS4S, hankook v601. These will have good NVH, strong wet weather performance for your daily drive, acceptable tire life on your commute to work and back.

When i bought the car had horrible mismatched run flat tires and practically jumped down the road. threw on a set of DWS06+ and felt so much better.

My other bike has Continentals and it accelerates better. It feels lighter as well.

I've run various versions of the Contis including the EC Sports & DWS 06+. Don't get me wrong, they are fantastic tires, but they do have drawbacks. I don't like how soft the sidewalls are, the tire profile isn't that appealing, tire dressing smears on the sidewalls leaving streaks, and they don't have a treadwear warranty (summer tires). If you are in an area where you are able to run summers year round, there is no reason not to do it other than sacrificing a tiny bit of tread life. Contis also don't seem to balance up as well as some of the other premium brands. I've had more issues with vibrations from Conti tires than I have from some others.

The black edition is the same as the regular gatorskins. They're pretty much all I ride, it's not grippy in the wet nor the most comfortable and its rolling resistance is twice that of GP5000's.
