Also I live in the Northeast, around Philly, so I needed something with decent all season traction. Conti has been great. And very good wear rating .
Dws 06+ bro. I praise them forever. Had them on my Elantra, our Mazda 3, and our Wrx
Continental DWS 06+ I have them on a Porsche Cayman and they are fantastic in all 4 seasons.
Znam jer na oba auta imam te ljetne i te zimske.
Continental CrossContact LX25 all day long. I've ran LTXs and those aforementioned GoodYear Comfort Drives and the Contis excel them in every aspect.
If you only drive in snow 2 or 3 times a year, I’d go with the continental cross contact, it’s a quiet, comfortable ride and all around great all season tire, also comes standard of some of the premium Toyotas like the Venza.
From experience with Gislaved on a WRX, Blizzak WS90 on another car, Blizzak DMV2 on a large diesel SUV, and Viking Contact 7s on a “regular SUV” and a parent’s older car, my personal favourite are the continental VC7s for all around winter.
I ride similar conditions. Went from a MaxGrip DHF to a Kryptotal. Really happy with the Conti’s
Now my experience with the ECS02s vs my typical 200tw Yoko AD09s is they do not have the same ability to grip and I have to brake earlier and carry less speed into the apexes or they slip/push a bit.
The service manager of my local tire dealership told me these Continental tires were great tires. Never had continental tires before. The first time there was a bubble on the sidewall of the tire of course they never told me about the warranty or the class action lawsuit over it. So I shelled out $350 to have it replaced. The second time it blew out by the same company who sold them to me but a different location. They told me it should be under warranty and it took a while, but they ended up having no charge But I had to pay the $35 warranty in case it happened again and the tire and balance along with it. Not too long after that tire had the same issue (bubble) luckily I've been through it before and got it replaced for free, but not after a bunch of jacking around and of course, my time my effort and waiting for them to do it and the balancing etc. fees Here I am in July 2024 and another bubble on the sidewall the tire. I'm furious. I called Continental and they basically said sorry they'll have to go through normal channels to see if it's warranted. Pretty much had a nonchalant attitude. So I asked the guy. What would you do if it was you and all your time and effort and $350 down the drain and because the first guy didn't tell you it should've been warrantied , he said I would just continue to let them replace them on warranty. Pretty much no help. So here I am waiting to find out from the third location of the same place who sold them to me if they will be warrantied. Never buy continental tires ever ever again.
