Tires Continental or Maxxis

They are nice tires that roll really well. Mud and other soft ground can be an issue with the low tread and cornering can be a bit iffy with minuscule side knobs and rounded profile.

If you really want a budget tire I’d recommend the Continental extreme contacts... I have them on my R for daily driving and they’ve been great. I’m right around 494 WHP and they have excellent traction in a straight line and turning. It’s actually pretty hard to get them to spin

Conti Extrem contat DWS 06 + Been using them in several sets on many VW's great water and grip, long lasting with great traction tire rack, 2 year road hazard, cus our roads suck, I took out one in a giant crater on teh NJ Tpk (and ya PAY high tolls for a **** road) tire rack hazard covered it, new tire next day check a wek later, had VW dealer mount and balance $16...all better

40k for me, bought the slightly bigger continental lx 25. Never looked back.

Just put the Continentals on my '19 GLI. Happy with them so far. they are top rated by Tire Rack customers. Replaced Michelin Pilot Sport which was very good on wet roads. Dumped the Hankooks not long after buying the car. Awful tires.

Been using Contis for many years now.They are excellent and not too pricey for most common sizes.Great all-arounders

Great all around tire on my M3 LR AWD 19” w/Boost in every area except range.

Sure it’s not a racing tire, but compared to the OEM Conti’s the wet and snow grip is sooo much better. Dry grip is almost as good. Durable, comfortable, great wear.

Continental DWS06+ is my choice after a lot of research.

This is on a Performance where I like traction. It is quiet and efficient.

Continental. I’ve owned the Ascend GT and while it rides very well and has incredible wet grip, it doesn’t offer a quiet ride.

One of the best mods I’ve done in my car so far is Motegi wheels in 17” and Firestone Firehawk.......the stock Contis suck!
