I would look into a set of Landsails or Advantas. Both have solid mileage warranties and are nowhere near Goodyear and Michelin prices.
I swapped my OEMs with [Continental ExtremeContact DWS-06 Plus](https://continentaltire.com/tires/extremecontact-dws06-plus). They're pretty good and highly recommended everywhere.
Tenho continental ultra contacto e tou mt satisfeito
At any rate, my mechanic recommeded Continental ProContatc.
The answer is conti premium contact 6, or yoko v105. Both good tyres but allow you to explore the limits without silly speeds and good feedback.
Conti ecs02. Upgraded from Bridgestone re97as a few days ago and haven’t had any wheel spin yet. I haven’t done a pull from a dig yet but leaned into first after about 2k rpm a few times and did rolling pulls and it’s been great. No wheel hop either. They do feel a lot firmer and you notice imperfection in the road a lot more. They also kick up rocks way more than touring all seasons.
I’ve had both the ECS02 and PS4S. I think it’s worth the extra cost. I prefer the ECS02. They have a softer side wall, aren’t as loud, and last longer than the PS4S. They provide about same amount of grip in my opinion as well. I care about comfort so the contis were my top choice.
I have an Emonda SL5 with tubeless GP5k in 28mm and it’s amazing.
I only buy Continental touring tires. They're hard, and a bit noisy, but they hold up forever to highway driving.
I have owned a lot of new cars over the years but the Continental tires on the Arteon are the worst. I have replaced 3 tires over 3 years due to bulging in the sidewall.
