I’m running Kenda K413 tires front and back but I got 110 width. I love the tires and the ride feels great.

Pros: ride feels great

Wow, for road bikes the Conti GP5000 has been the gold standard for a long time. The Aeolus RSL has lower resistance and better puncture protection. I guess there’s a new king in town.

Pros: lower resistance, better protection

I take insanely fast turns, also in NYC there are shitty roads and it's been raining and snowing a lot, the stock bridgestones are terriblely awful it feels like I'm driving on ice, changed them out for DWS06 plus 225/45 so the sidewall got a bit bigger and everything else improved, I went from taking 15-20mph turns in the tight nyc roads to now 25+ comfortably, cutting up on the highway has never been easier, both dry and wet, also the car drives even better in the snow. The road noise is noticeably quieter and the ride is smoother although thats mainly thanks to a bit bigger sidewall.

Pros: improved handling, quieter
Cons: stock bridgestones terrible
Vehicle: Mazda 3

typical time on GP5K 28mm is 45mins with a dead shortest time of 32mins with a strong tailwind. Both bikes set up to have nearly identical geo relationship between saddle, primary grip area, and bottom bracket and thus identical posture.

I notice it everywhere in my riding- turns, takeoffs, climbs, I *definitely notice it* on multi hour rides… and I’m no pro.

Pros: notice it everywhere

I went from Kenda to Conti GP 5000s and it felt like I got a new bike. And my speed increased by several mph. You just can't get upgrades like that with any other component

Pros: speed increased

When I switched to Conti GP4000sii, those were 12.2 watts per tire. Total of 24.4 watts.

The difference between them obviously 40 watts (depending on conditions). Yeah, that is a big deal. And you can feel it. One is like pedaling through mud in comparison to the other floating over the road.

Pros: big deal, you feel it

The Advan wheels on my miata came with dws06+. Was really happy with the performance but what annoyed me so much about them was the tapered profile and narrow tread. Wet performance wasn't a concern for that car so I replaced them with the firehawks in the same size. The tread is almost an inch wider and they dont look stretched on the wheels.

Pros: good performance
Cons: tapered profile, narrow tread
Vehicle: Mazda
